Emily Redmond
Emily Redmond is a professional violin and viola player based in Co. Wexford. She performs regularly as a soloist for weddings and as a member of various string quartets and string trios around Ireland. She performs a wide variety of music, classical, jazz, popular and traditional.
Emily is a graduate of Waterford Institute of Technology and went on to study conducting after her degree with Fergus Sheil. She received a County Council Bursary in 2008 to continue her studies at Canford Conductors Summer School with George Hurst, Denise Ham, Rudolfo Saglimbeni and Robert Houlihan. She now conducts the County Wexford Youth Orchestra who have performed in the National Concert Hall, Wexford Opera House and various venues around Ireland. They travelled to Prague in 2009 to participate in an international youth orchestra festival and they will travel to Slovakia in July 2011 to compete in a festival also.
Emily has been a member of various orchestras from a young age including the Dublin Youth Orchestras, WIT Orchestra,Wexford Sinfonia and for many musical societies in the South East. She was a member of the Bernini Ensemble from 2007-2009. She recently joined the Dublin Philharmonic Orchestra on their tour of China in July 2010 with soloists Cora Venus Lunny, Celine Byrne and De Dannan. She has performed on the Late Late Show with The Vards, Chris de Burgh, The Priests, Paddy Moloney, Westlife and is currently performing for some of Tommy Flemings concerts on his nationwide tour.
Emily has been teaching violin and viola at the County Wexford School of Music since 2004 and in various schools throughout County Wexford. Emily is based in Wexford.

Brona Colfer
With degress in Music (BA mod) and Business and Information Technology (BSc) from Trinity College Dublin and having lived in Ireland, the UK and the USA, Bróna Colfer has a diverse background.
Originally from Dublin, Bróna studied piano with Mary Ellison at the College of Muisc and cello with the late Christopher Bunting at the Royal College of Music in London. As a student, she was Principal Cellist of the National Youth Orchestra and Irish reprensentative in the European Community Youth Orchestra. In Feis Ceoil senior competitions she won the 'Senior Concerto Cup', the 'Bach Prize for Solo Cello' and the 'Trimble Cup' for two pianos.
As a professional cellist, she worked with the RTE Symphony and Concert Orchestras, the Orchestra of the Welsh National Opera, the BBC National Orchestra of Wales and the Austin Symphony Orchestra.
As a teacher, Bróna has taught music in Ireland, Wales and Texas. She currently teaches cello and piano in the Carlow College of Music and conducts the Carlow Junior Youth Orchestra. She is Director of MusicianCraft, her centre as an artist. Bróna is now resident in Co. Wexford.
